Eating out in Lochgoilhead
Good food and a glorious view are assured in the Shore House restaurant. No matter where you sit the panoramic windows on to the loch allow everyone to appreciate the wonderful setting overlooking the water.
The evening menu is varied and, although some ‘old favourites’ like steak and Guinness pie, sirloin steak and cullen skink are always available, the menu changes frequently according to what’s in season and the chef’s whim!

Our authentic wood fired oven sits in a corner of the open kitchen and is used primarily to bake our speciality pizzas which are available lunchtimes and in addition to the evening menu. Pizza toppings are freshly prepared and the dough is made in-house by Jim Paterson, who was the very popular village baker before joining our team at the Shore House when we opened in 2005. Jim’s puddings are yummy and his oatcakes are legendry!
At lunchtime we offer selected dishes from the evening menu, pizzas and light meals and on Sundays there is a traditional roast. We have a children’s menu and they can choose certain dishes from the evening menu in smaller portions.
Our food is freshly cooked to order and special dietary requests will be met wherever possible.
